Jaan Kross 100. Seminar at the Oodi Library

Seminar dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Estonian writer Jaan Kroos will be held on February 13 at Oodi Library, Helsinki.

Literary scholars and researchers will discuss not only the role of Jaan Kross in Estonian fiction and cultural history, but also Kross’s message to today’s Estonian and Finnish reader.

The seminar will be moderated by Juhani Salokannel, translator and biographer of Jaan Kross.

The seminar will be held in Finnish.
