Helsinki, Finland – 3–4 November 2025 – Estonian Minister of Economic Affairs and Industry Erkki Keldo visited Finland with a business delegation, attending Teknologia 2025 industrial fair, meeting Finnish ministers and investors, visiting leading industrial companies, and promoting business relations between Estonian and Finnish companies.
The visit focused on boosting exports in Estonia’s technology and industrial sectors, creating new business contacts, and deepening Estonia-Finland cooperation in innovation and technology.
“Finland is one of Estonia’s key export partners, and companies from our two countries collaborate across multiple sectors – from energy and industry to IT and education. Every new investment or partnership creates value for both sides and helps make the Baltic Sea region’s economy smarter and more sustainable,” said Minister Erkki Keldo.

During the visit, Minister Keldo met with Finnish Minister of Economic Affairs Sakari Puisto and Minister of Employment Matias Marttinen to discuss developments in industry and labor policy and explore collaboration opportunities. The delegation also held an investor meeting with UPM-Kymmene’s management to discuss the company’s activities in Estonia and future plans.

The Estonian delegation visited leading Finnish industrial companies such as ABB, Nokia, ICEYE, and KONE. “Many Finnish companies are valued industrial investors and employers in Estonia. These investments demonstrate confidence in Estonia as a stable and innovation-friendly business environment. We will continue working to ensure they persist in the future,” added Minister Keldo.
As part of the visit, an Estonia–Finland business seminar took place at the Estonian Embassy in Helsinki, along with several networking events bringing together entrepreneurs and investors from both countries.

Minister Keldo also participated in Teknologia fair activities with Estonian companies, including a panel discussion on the future of the economy, education, and engineering. The visit featured award ceremonies for the Robotex and Cyber Security Nordic / Cybercation competitions, aimed at developing young people’s education and technology skills.
The Estonian business delegation included: Bamboo Group, Coursy Technologies, Creatomus Solutions, Devdelux, Digilogistika Keskus, Flowit Estonia, Krabu Grupp, Nortal, OIXIO Group, Processa Technologies, Proekspert, ReSys, Wemply, Robotex, and AI & Robotics Estonia.
Teknologia is Finland’s second-largest industrial fair (after Alihankinta), showcasing the latest technological solutions, machinery, equipment, and industrial innovations.
