On 5–6 June 2025, the Estonian Embassy in Helsinki organised a regional seminar for Estonia’s honorary consuls in Finland. This time, the seminar was held in Estonia and offered a programme filled with valuable visits and meaningful discussions.

During the two-day visit, the honorary consuls explored the newly renovated House of the Nobility in Tallinn, the Ämari Air Base, the Arvo Pärt Centre in Laulasmaa, and the Estonian defence technology company Milrem Robotics. The seminar provided insights into Estonia’s societal and economic developments and highlighted areas where honorary consuls can support Estonia’s interests internationally.

A formal meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was also part of the programme, where the consuls had the honour of meeting Minister of Foreign Affairs Margus Tsahkna, Deputy Secretary General Kerli Veski, Special Envoy for Honorary Consuls and EdTech Peep Jahilo, and Joonas Vänto, Director of the Foreign Investment Department at the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency (EIS).

We sincerely thank all of our honorary consuls in Finland for their continued dedication in representing Estonia and supporting Estonian citizens and businesses in their respective regions.
