On January 21, 2020, young Finnish diplomats visited the embassy. Ambassador Harri Tiido gave an overview of the embassy’s history and current bilateral relations, while Head of Consular Section Peeter Püvi introduced the consular topics and cultural counsellor Anu Kippasto talked about cultural relations. This was followed by a lively Q&A round, with particular interest in digital topics and economic relations. After the visit, Finnish diplomats headed to a traditional study trip to the Estonian Foreign Ministry to meet our young diplomats.
With the visit, we started to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Finnish-Estonian diplomatic relations.
