17–27 September 2026 | Helsinki International Film Festival – Love & Anarchy

In September, the Helsinki International Film Festival – Love & Anarchy once again takes over cinemas across Helsinki. This year, Estonian cinema is represented by Meel Paliale’s Rolling Papers and R&A Shorts: Animated Baltic Gems, a selection showcasing some of the best new animation from the Baltic countries.

Set against Tallinn’s changing seasons, Rolling Papers is a coming-of-age dramedy about friendship, love and finding one’s place in the world. The film was written, directed and edited by Meel Paliale.
