Tuesday 25.11.2025 to Tuesday 25.11.2025
G Livelab, Yrjönkatu 3, Helsinki

This November, Music Talsinki Club fills G Livelab with a glowing, jazz-infused atmosphere as two exceptional Estonian acts take the stage: the soulful duo Kadri Voorand & Mihkel Mälgand and the dynamic Tõnu Tubli Trio. Expect a night of creativity, emotion, and inspired improvisation.

Kadri Voorand, an award-winning singer, pianist and composer, captivates audiences with her magnetic presence and fearless blend of jazz, folk and improvisational pop. Her performances are intimate yet powerful, full of emotion, freedom and surprising turns. Voorand has enchanted audiences worldwide, including at the EFG London Jazz Festival, Trondheim Jazzfest, and Pori Jazz.

Jazzwise: “Kadri Voorand is a people person. Whether playing piano, violin, or thumb piano, the audience were hanging on her every note, and when asked to join in, the audience sang as one.”

London Jazz News: “This stirring together of jazz, folk and pop, with thoughtful arrangements from these distinctive musicians, takes you, for a while, off into another world.”

Sharing the stage with Kadri is Mihkel Mälgand, one of Estonia’s most acclaimed bassists. His dynamic, expressive style has made him a sought-after collaborator, performing with legends such as John Scofield, Randy Brecker, Nils Landgren, and Kurt Elling. Together, Voorand and Mälgand create a sound world that is both intimate and electrifying.

Opening the evening, the Tõnu Tubli Trio takes listeners on a genre-bending musical journey through jazz, hip-hop and dub. Led by Tõnu Tubli, known also as the energetic drummer of Trad.Attack!, the trio thrives on spontaneous interaction and rhythmic intuition.

Alongside Tubli, Marvin Mitt and Indrek Mällo bring joy, groove and freedom to the stage, making every performance a unique moment in time.

The concert is open for all ages. Tickets: G Livelab Helsinki
